Crafted in Poland, Nelson Sunflower Clock is one of clocks designed by George Nelson Associates for the Howard Miller Clock Company. Back in 1949, George Nelson launched his studio in New York City and employed some of most celebrated designers of that time such as John Pile, Irving Harper, and Don Chadwick. All these iconic designers contributed to the design of the clocks until the company closure in the mid-1980s. Nelson Sunflower Clock is the same model appeared in Herman Miller brochure as Model 2261, this new production is done by Vitra Design Museum.
